About Me
I'm a naturally curious and hands-on type of person. Building stuff from scratch, or figuring out how things work. Or just diving deep into a new topic, I love the process of learning and creating.
I enjoy challenges that push me to think differently and solve problems creatively. I find a lot of satisfaction in working on projects that blend logic with creativity—whether it’s coding, woodworking, or even tending to my vegetable garden.
Outside of my projects, I’m always up for a good workout at the gym. I appreciate structure and discipline but also believe in having fun along the way. And when I’m not actively building something, you’ll probably find me somewhere around Hilversum in the woods, wondering what my dog is trying to communicate.

- Front-End Magic – If it runs in a browser, I’ll make it look good and work even better. React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript… I’ve got it covered.
- Back-End Wizardry – Databases, APIs, authentication, real-time features… the unseen parts of an app are just as exciting!
- Building with a Purpose – Whether it's a personal project, a startup idea, or a client solution, I focus on making things that people actually want to use.
Fun Facts About Me
- 🐶 My dog thinks he’s the best developer in the house. He contributes by staring at me judgmentally while I'm working.
- 🍼 My kids are my biggest joy and my biggest reminder that sleep is for the weak.
- ⏳ I believe deadlines are just motivation in disguise.
- 🥦 I grow my own vegetables to eat healthier… and then immediately offset it with a good burger.

The Art Room
The Art Room is a full-stack web application that provides a platform for artists to showcase, manage, and sell their work online. Designed to foster a creative community, the platform enables both artists and art enthusiasts to connect through artwork uploads, interactive features, and a streamlined purchasing experience. The backend, built with Spring Boot, handles secure authentication, data management, and API services. This was a team-reviewed project, with code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
Image-effects
A browser-based image processing tool built with Rust and compiled to WebAssembly. Users can upload images and apply real-time filters like brightness, contrast, grayscale, and inversion directly in the browser.
